PES vs. Eros Tek ET-312

It is interesting that PES claims to be first. I believe
the claim, as their box is very primitive. It is a very weak box. What they
mean by it being for pleasure is simply that it cannot deliver pain. Turn
the Eros Tek to intense, use channel A, and turn the knob up until you can
barely detect any current. That is the PES box. The PES box has 2 channels,
but there is no isolation between them. It's like you took a a Radio Shack
double connector and plugged it into an Eros Tek channel. Then plugged two
cables into that. The PES box has one set of controls that affect both channels
at once. You cannot get a different signal out of the two channels, they
are in total lockstep. It has two intensity controls, but they are coarse
and fine. Having a fine intensity control is an interesting idea, but it's
wasted on a wimpy box like this. There is a momentary contact switch for
each channel. But the channel is normally on and pressing the switch shuts
it off as long as you press it. Not too useful. The box might be useful
for a first box or to test new toys or something. But don't expect too much.
On the plus side, the battery lasts forever...but again this really just
points out its low power.
I also own a Fun box (www.funproducts.com). It's better than the PES box,
but then so is everything. Since I have a Hotboxx and a Eros Tek, those
are what I use. Finally, Eroslink is out and I just got mine. I am off next
week and will delve deeply into programming the box then. But Ersolink comes
with several new routines that can immediately be downloaded. "Tormemt 2"
and "Beestings" alone are worth the price of Eroslink.
