ABOUT ELECTRASTIM:
This company is based in the UK.
Like other European companies, I think there prices are cheaper and more reasonable
than most places.
See adapter page for using the toys or
box with other e-stim brands.
The Rimba, Electrastim,
and Performer (sold by New Sex Toys) are all
European made electric boxes. They are inexpensive and run about $100 - $150
depending on what basic accessories they come with. These are a nice option
those on tight budget or someone just starting out. I think I would suggest
these over a plain tens unit because they are made for e-stimming and are
a little less likely to numb and likely to sexually stimulate.
Also tens unit vary so much in power & features that it's hard to really
know what your getting.
If you don't want to mess with adapters right away, finding a company that
has the accessory toys you like best may help you make your choice.
ELECTRASTIM BOX: It is pretty basic and is the most expensive European box. It runs at about $150 and only includes tens style pad. However, If I was looking for a basic unit I might pick this one. It has four programs instead of tens unit style controls and it flat with no dials. I just get the impression it is more sex oriented than the others. There selection of female toys is also better than the other companies, yet I don't like there male toys as well. They don't market any adpaters for it, so your kind of on your own if you want to use the box with other toys or there toys with other boxes. I guess it's all in what your looking for.
ELECTRAVIB: This company is the only one I have combine a vibrator & electric stimming in one device. I don't know about using it with any box except the one they sell, but I think it would work.
ELECTRA RINGS: These come in a variety of sizes and are all metal. Their style is similar, except thinner that Folsom ones and I have the same concerns with them.
ELECTRA SCROTAL RINGS: These come in a variety of sizes as well and are all metal. See above for review.
ELECTRA PROBE ANAL PLUGS: They sell 3 sizes / styles that are solid metal. I will say what I have said in other areas. Being solid meta,l I'm sure they are heavy. Because it is heavy, the sub will feel it more and it will harder to take than a lighter electric butt plug (like the electra probe twin anal probe) and my personal favorite, the Folsom mini plug). I personally prefer the lighter style when using them on myself. However, the heavier ones may be better for those who are really into heavy anal play.
ELECTRA PROBE TWIN ANAL PROBE: Though I don't have this, looking at it, I think the design is great. It looks lightweight and small. It also looks liked it's shaped to stay in. I would think this would be the best bet in from this manufacturer for beginners who want to try anal play. Since it is only about $75, it also may be a good less expensive option instead of the Folsom mini plugs (they sell for about $150).
ELECTRA PROBE TWIN CONTACT VAGINAL PROBE: This is looks close too, if not identical to the New Sex Toys probe, which some people ESS have really liked. The US price is similar at about $75.

Folsom Electric Company: This is a guide from the maker of the products and shows everything they have. Though an OK site, and good for reference many places that sell the products have better descriptions.
Folsom Toys can be purchased at many places including: Rupert Huse & Son, and The Stockroom. I don't know of any place that carries everything. I think Rupert, Huse & Son has the best selection overall, but they don't carry the mini or Jr. butt plug.
