REVIEW
I bought this unit about 5 years ago and have loved it from the start. I also own the Eros-Tek 312 and a Tens unit. I had a PES box for few years, but unfortuneatly it got stolen.
The remote is very cool. I tested it out. It only took about 10 minuets to figure it out. It is very easy to use. I waited the extra 6 months for this one to come out and I'm glad I did. I really wanted the added variety the MA (frequency) switch added. It only has one channel. Though of course I wish I could have a second channel, I would rather have the MA button. While a sub can't turn it off by themselves, they can however just pull the channel plug out.
Personally, I think that for the extra $100 it costs, I is definitely a much better value than a PES and/or Folsom box as it is way more versatile.
Though I do think this is a great buy, if I had to choose between the Eros-Tek 312 and this I would have to say I would choose the Eros-Tek 312. This is because it has more variety of pleasure sensations which is important in my line of work. The programs on the Eros-Tek 312 have more pleasure play sensations even though it can be extremly painful as well. Part of the reason for this is that on the remote unit you might start with the level at set at 10. As time goes on you then push it up to 11. By doing this, it is like going from 10 to 15 on the traditional Eros-Tek 312. This most likely because the remote only goes up to 50, while the Eros-Tek 312 goes to 100. This is not neccessarily a bad thing, it's just something you need to aware of and consider when choosing a device. It also doesn't mean that the using the remote can't be a sensual, pleasureable experience for those not into more intense pain. This result just needs a bit more experimentation and keep the device at a lower level you would the Eros-Tek 312. The remote simply has more unique options for BDSM pain / training than the Eros-Tek 312 box because of the various training modes and compact size.
Some other ticks I don't like is that it shuts itself off after 30 minuets in non-training modes if you don't press a button. I also wish the LCD screen were attached to the remote and not the box itself. In order to change setting you really need to be able to see LCD on the box or you could get a setting wrong. I guess I'm the type of person who likes to change things often so this is a little inconvenient for me. My friend who knows about a lot about electricity says this is probably not possible, but one can always dream :)

Here are the programs is comes with and what I think of them. The first ones are though not identical, are similar to the Eros-Tek 312 are pretty much self-explanatory by there names. I have made notes on things I like and do with them. I keep the intensity at about 20 - 50 usually. Again, I think the lower setting on this box are more intense than on the Eros-Tek 312 and/ or more the intensity goes up faster, for instance it seems to me there is a bigger difference between say 18 & 19 on this box.
Basic - on & off in a steady rhythm- pulsing. I don't care that much for this mode. It is not that erotic to me. It gets very annoying after while on any level. At the frequency of about 50 the stimulation is pretty much constant with variations.
Waves- This is only somewhat similar to the original waves program. This one changes more. Both the intensity & frequency change randomly but it still feels like the wave action. The MA (frequency) control changes how constant the stimulation is. I like it better on a 70+ frequency.
Stroke - I am glad I have this remote instead of the other because I like the stroke (frequency) slower at around 20. I don't think you really feel the stroke motion much when it's faster. I think this is my favorite move for getting myself excited.
Rhythm - This is my second favorite, most of the time in nice, but mild. However, it grows in intensity and peaks a time making you squirm & cringe a bit if it is set high enough (usually about 45 for me).
Random - program keeps changing for variety. This is OK, but not intense enough for me in most cases. I like the rhythm better.
Audio soft - It provides near constant stimulation in noisy rooms. I guess it good in a quite room, If you don't want someone to move then put it on and any movement that makes noise will give them a jolt. Though I haven't done this. I was thinking if somehow you hooked someone up so that bells or something would ring if they moved that would be cool. Testing it, I put the intensity on 40, then made a loud noise. That was quite a jolt.
Audio loud - This is more adjustable. It can be set to respond to all sound or just loud noises.
Training levels - It took me a few minuets to be brave enough to push the #3 button (most intense). It is rather shocking. It would be hard to at least moan a little when it pushed, especially if it is unexpected. And I'm a pain slut. The intensity & length can't be adjusted.
Training ramps- This one isn't bad at any level because it starts out light and works up to more intensity. There are 3 different intensities. The intensity & length can't be adjusted. Training signal- this one doesn't really hurt at all. Each one just feels different (button 1, 2, & 3). This is good for silent communication. Like if you want a drink or want someone to come to you at a party. The intensity & length can't be adjusted.

MALE STEUP NOTES:
Ther are two ways I know of set this up. The first is to use the Sextek Electrocup ($150) and the Sextek Unipolar Electroband ($50)- both are unipolar. The waist strap that attaches to the electrocup has a convenient space in the back to put the box in. I used a little tape to secure it further. I like that the electrocup is very secure and you don't have to worry about the guy being hard to make a good connection like a lot of other male toys.
Second, You can also just use the Sextek dual (bipolar) electroband that goes around both the cock and balls. This is the simpler and cheaper way to do it and works as good if not better than the other method.
There are probally other ways to do this, but I can't think of any at this time. I really haven't had greastest luck getting other electric CBT toys to work well. Anything that goes around the cock like----- or cockcap can be difficult to use. As a subs cock grows harder or softer the connection my not be as strong.
As an example. I had a guy who had the cockcap and electrocup on. His cock would go soft and then I would tease him and it would get harder and bigger. When his cock was soft there was little if any connection, when it got hard it was like getting a jolt and he seemed to like it. This was great fun for me. However, I have done this with many other subs. Some never really get hard so they don't feel it. Some vacillate and find the jolt very upleasant and not something they want do. There is no way to stop this from occuring. If you have a subs that stays hard through the whole things your blessed as when this occurs most subs really like it. A few have said it feels like having the best oral sex they ever had.I had the most fun using the training levels program. I would send my sub off to make him go talk to someone. Then, I would press one of the buttons and make him cringe every so often. This was especially entertaining when going out to "vannila" places like the knife store, victoria's secret and strip clubs.
