An EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) unit. Same concept as abacizor and many other countless exercise devices on the market that claim to let you exercise while relaxing without effort. This is one of the early versions from the 60's. It is much better and more versatile than the ones made now. You should know that these devices don't work for exercise purposes and many are unsafe.
There is nothing really relaxing about this device. I mostly use large pads included with it on the legs, but it can be used on the ass, back and abs as well. It makes the muscles jump. It isn't really painful for the most part, at least on lower levels. It just becomes very annoying when left on for a while. In time (30-60 minutes usually - depending on intensity) the muscles will become weak and sore and it will make them unable to stand. What fun it is to start whipping when their muscles are collapsing and make them stand for a few more minutes or continue with the whip. Note when using the device the subs muscles with be sore the next day as if they had exercised.
It can also be used in conjunction with Folsom & PES electric toys, just as a PSG or PES box would be used. However, you do have to modify it a bit as the connections are not perfect. You need to use the alligator clip method described on my adapter page. I have used it with larger items such as the butt plug, cock ring, and corona simulator with great success. It does not work well, if at all with smaller items with small points like the Folsom prod. For more information on attachments please go the toy pages.
A fun cheap way to use for CBT is to wrap the cock or balls tightly in tin foil. Connect one lead to a pad on the thigh and clip the other to foil. Make sure the dial it set very low and go up very slowly. This is very intense.
The unit is quite bulky and not good for playing in general public (like a restaurant), Though it is certainly portable enough for a play party. It is also not the best unit for self-stimulation. This is for three reasons: you must improvise connections to attachments, it is large and it's feeling is overall not all that erotic (using with a butt plug is an exception).
SAFETY:
I strongly suggest having someone like myself demo it for you. At the very least you should have some knowledge and experience with electricity. Using the pads is easier and safer than using with toys made for electric play.
Always make sure the machine dials are set to zero before turning it on. NEVER turn the dial rapidly or turn the setting up too quickly. Though I have used it above the waist, generally this is not advised. NEVER cross wires over the heart.
BUYING:
You can purchase them on Ebay. However, ebay states that it does not allow sales of any electric muscle stimulation device. If you see one, make sure to write down the seller e-mail or contact them ahead or time. Ebay will often take them off before the final sale if they find out about it. I got mine for about $125.
My unit has 6 outputs so you can hook it up to many different body parts and do many different things all at the same time. Some units only have 3 or 4 spaces which allows less versatility. Also, make sure to ask if it works. People will think you're a collector and don't see why it needs to. They don't realize you'll be using to torture some poor :) sub.
